Ari, my amazing boy, stood before the school board and spoke up for transgender rights. His speech came mere weeks after a student told the school board that she'd rather fail gym class than change with transgender students in the locker room. After Ari's remarks, there was a standing ovation and the school district superintendent stood, walked over to him and shook his hand. Beautiful moment, beautiful night. Love wins.

12歳のアリ・ボーマンは体の性は女性ですが、心の性は男性として生まれました。
彼の学校では身体の性（生物学上の性）に基づいて着替えの部屋を区分していたのですが、一人の女生徒が「私は女性だから、男性の見た目をした人の前では着替えられない。トランスジェンダーの人は私たちと同じ部屋で着替えてほしくない」と主張しました。それに伴って、アリ・ボーマンは学校の職員に対して印象的なスピーチを行いました。
